Sweat in your eyes stings like shit. But what a way to earn every bead. And no, for once I’m not talking about Dean taking my ass, which we know is right up there with the best reason ever. We’ve beat the Buccaneers, our last official game in the season. I’m hella relieved; our playoff win last year made me freak out more than necessary before today’s game.

I seek out Dean, gaze landing on his hairy polyester form. He’s twerking his ass off and celebrating hard, and fuck do I want to kiss the shit out of him.

“Oomph.” The wind’s knocked out of me as Tyron lifts me off my feet.

“Dude…”

I snort as he releases me, and turn, wrapping the big guy in a hug. “Good game, man.”

“You know it.” After a tight squeeze, he lets go and steps back, a wide grin on his face, just as Sammy appears, jumping on Ty’s back, smacking a huge-ass kiss on his cheek.

With my heart still pounding, adrenalin pumping through my system, I once again search for my favorite person, wishing I could see his familiar brown eyes.

When his bear-covered body angles in my direction, my heart leaps, and my feet are moving before I can overthink it.

Will he kick my ass? Quite possibly. But my need is too strong. Not only that, I know with 95 percent confidence that Dean won’t be too nonplussed. It’s not like we haven’t talked about this moment once or a million times before.

Bentley beats me to Bryson the Bear, high-fiving him, but it’s not Bryson I want. It’s the man beneath the costume. When Bentley steps away, his gaze lands on me. He’s grinning, then his eyes widen, and I suspect he knows what I’m going to do.

He steps out of my way, chuckling, and I wish like hell I could see Dean’s expression too. What I offer is “It needs to go.”

We’re stock-still, facing each other, and then an overexaggerated head nod follows. Noise spills around us, camera crews in the near distance. And then my hands are moving to the zip I know is tucked under the chin of the bear’s head.

Dean’s sweaty face, plastered in damp hair, rivals my own. Our gazes lock and then I’m on him, capturing his mouth with mine. He grins into the kiss before melting into the brush of my lips against his, his tongue moving in tandem with mine. With my palms against his cheeks, I stroke a thumb across his skin before easing away.

You see that look right there? It’s glazed and kiss drunk, and one of my favorite looks on him.

“Hey.” His words are soft, but standing so close, I still hear the breathiness of that one word. “Good game.”

A grin stretches my face. “Thought it was worth celebrating.”

“You did, huh?” His chuckle is light and sweet.

“And you’re okay with... this?” I still haven’t glanced around, knowing when I do, this moment will be gone.

“Your kiss is totally worth it, but a blowie in the shower after you’ve soaped me up good and proper won’t hurt either.”

“Kendall.”

The sound of Tyron hollering only makes me groan a little.

“Dude,” he all but whines when I don’t immediately drag my attention in his direction. It does the trick though.

When I glance at him, he flicks his eyes to the big screen, and not for the first time, there’s me and Dean front and center. My boyfriend waves, causing an extra loud cheer from the crowd, and I snort out a laugh.

“Kendall, you got a minute?”

There’s no escaping the reporter and camera now before me, but when Dean attempts to side-step out of my hold, I shift my arm and tug him close so he’s properly tucked up against my side.

“Sure thing.” I smile at the reporter who’s grinning widely, gaze darting between me and Dean.

“You and the team have broken two new records this season, and once again, you’ve broken your shot record.” The reporter glances at Dean. “I think many in the sporting world have been wondering how you’ve managed to stay on top of your game. We know it’s been a big year for you. Maybe with this latest mascot reveal, we’re all understanding why that is exactly.”

I smirk and angle toward Dean, pressing a kiss against his temple. Dean’s eyes widen before he leans into me and peers up at my face. “Well, I like to think my team and I know what’s been at stake this season. We’ve played smart and hard. But it’s true,” I add with a grin, “having my boyfriend at my side the whole time has made the deal that much sweeter.”

Just thinking about how much has changed over the last few months is enough to make my head spin. Coming out publicly, and with a boyfriend, did cause a stir, but thankfully, it hadn’t been the shit show I’d been dreading. And honesty, this was the first time Dean and I had “stepped out” on the court together, but only because of the whole secret mascot thing.

“How about you, Dean, got any words to say about tonight’s success this season?”

If Dean’s surprised by the question directed his way, or by the fact the reporter knows his name, he doesn’t show it. “The Bears have talent in bucketloads. It’s their ability to work as a together that’s kept them as the star team, though. I know Kieran will agree that the support from his teammates, Coach, and Brixham is a level pretty much like that of a family. It’s that that has made the Bears the winners they are today. I’m grateful to be just a small part of that.”

The flip of my heart at his words has me squeezing him close. What I don’t have enough time to do is haul him back in my arms to kiss the ever-loving shit out of him. Instead, we’re saying our thanks and I’m torn away from Dean to go do my rounds.

Almost the whole time, I count down to when I can get Dean home, in the shower, and get my fill. My teammates, the assholes, have other ideas.

There’s no escape from them. Every time we try to slip out of the door of the party we’ve been ushered into an hour later, one of us is grabbed for a celebratory hug, shot, or fucking dance off. Don’t even bother asking what that’s about.

Okay, I’ll give.

Now Dean is “out” as Bryson, a guise known for his admittedly hilarious dance offs, that seems to have put a spotlight on this evening’s festivities.

“Yes!” Leon grips my shoulder and all but shoves me into the “Tyron proclaimed” dance-off area.

“Seriously, this is not a good idea.” I may as well be speaking to myself, as no fucker is listening. A quick glance at Dean shows he’s no help. Yep, my asshole boyfriend is a few feet away from me and we’re apparently going head-to-head. How the hell is this my life?

I’d prefer to be doing a hundred push-ups than attempting this. My coordination is for shit. Dean’s not the first person ever to comment on my headless chicken dance moves. I’d like to say he’s exaggerating, but he’s so not.

Racking my brains for what to start with, the sound of “Bring it on Home to Me” starts playing, a song I legit only know because of Guardians of the Galaxy. And thank fuck it’s this song. My grin is immediate. “Dance off, bro!” I call out, channeling my inner Quill.

And then I’m moving. Badly. The whole time my focus is on Dean. Wide-eyed, he’s staring at me, clearly captivated by my trainwreck moves. That lasts a beat before he throws his head back and is laughing his ass off. I pull myself along my invisible rope, knowing I’ve totally won. It’s a given since Dean is practically bent double, clutching his stomach.

Once in his space, I grin down at him, waving at my hollering friends, before tugging my boyfriend into my arms.

“Never looked hotter, right?” Angling down to get closer to Dean’s mouth, I quirk my brow.

“Hot as spicy wings.” He waggles his brows and wraps his arms around my neck. “I think those moves were distracting enough that we can make a run for it.”

I side-eye the room, relieved to see we’re no longer the center of attention. “I like the way you think.”

He snorts and dots a kiss on my waiting mouth.

“You still need soaping down, or are you good for cocks in mouths?”

“Cocks in mouths for sure. Let’s go.” There’s a twinkle in his eyes as he clutches my hand and drags me out of the party.

“A win, dance offs, and cocks… best day ever,” I say, following him and leaning down close enough to nip at his ear.

“And don’t you forget it.”

“Never a chance of that.”

Somehow we make it back to my place, a miracle since every time I spot a wall, I’m pushing Dean against it and kissing him silly. It’s probably a good job there’s plenty of lighting around. If there were any quiet shadowy areas, I’m sure my knees would be suffering from gravel rash.

As soon as we have the front door slammed shut, there’s no holding back. My need is too desperate, my cock hard enough to punch nails. Should I drag my boyfriend to my room? Probably. Am I going to? Hell no, not when he’s already tugging open my fly.

“Nngh,” I groan when he grips me. “No, I want you in my mouth first.”

Dean’s grin is immediate. “No argument from me.” In a blink, his jeans are at his knees, and I waste no time in tasting him.

His dick’s hard and warm, and from the pulse in the vein when I trace my tongue along it, Dean is set to explode in no time at all. It’s a skill of mine… making him come so fast that his knees legit buckle.

“Holy… yes… nngh…” His needy tone spurs me on, and I get to work sucking him deep, using a hand to jack him as I do while brushing my fingertips across his balls. They constrict with my touch, and I ease off, sucking each one into my mouth. His grunt is sexy as fuck, but not as sexy as when he holds himself and encourages me to keep going.

Before I take him down, he paints my lips with his precum, and holy fuck do I love the taste of him. “Best lip gloss ever,” I say, drawing a burst of laughter from him.

“It should definitely be a flavor.”

“Spunk gloss.”

He snorts, and then groans when I engulf him and go to town. Sucking and bobbing, I feast on his cock. My own dick is weeping, and while it’s tempting to jack off, Dean’s mouth is so much hotter.

Needing him to blow so I can hear his “I’m coming” voice, I double down, grab his ass cheeks, and encourage him to fuck my mouth. That’s all it takes. Three fast, sweet pumps and he’s spilling into my mouth while whimpering, “Oh fuck, oh yes, oh my fucking… nngh.”

Easing off him, I swallow and swipe at my mouth, admiring his glistening cock. He’s half hard and perfect, even with shaky knees.

“That was…”

I grin and peer up at him. “Yeah?”

He manages a nod and a smile. “It really was.” His gaze roams my expression and he licks his bottom lip. “How do you feel about dragging me to your room and sitting on my face before feeding me your cock?”

I stand up so fast, I nearly stumble.

Dean chuckles. “I take that as a yes?”

“A hell fucking yes.” Rimmed and being sucked off… as if I’d ever say no to that combo.

“Perfect. Well, since my legs aren’t working and I’m only good for lying back and using my mouth, you wanna use those muscles of yours and drag my ass upstairs?”

I have him in a fireman’s lift in three seconds flat. Perhaps not the sexiest hold, but it’s the fastest. Dean’s laughter is loud as I carry him, and I’m good with that. It’s right up there with his come voice as being my favorite sound.

And as I lay him down and help strip his clothes off him, I can’t help but fall into a kiss before I let him have his way with me.

He’s breathless when I pull away. Before I move to straddle his face, I pause and take my fill, focusing on the flush in his cheeks and how gorgeous he looks with flushed cheeks.

“You okay?” he whispers, gaze searching mine.

“Yeah. Just memorizing the moment. Thinking how lucky I am that we met.”

There’s a softening in Dean’s gaze as he touches my cheek. “Love you.”

Every time he says those words to me, my heart flips. This time is no different. “Love you,” I say back.

And then he’s grinning. “Prove it by shifting your ass and letting me show you just how much.”

With a throbbing cock and a light heart, I do exactly that. There’s no way I ever want to disappoint this man of mine. In fact, it’s one of the only rules I live by these days.
